Two In One & Yoga Origami

It is surprising how much time it takes to fold 200 sheets of paper into 200 origami balloons (or the amount of money for origami paper for that matter).  After making a paper balloon for the first time, I realized the hole in the balloon would fit perfectly over a twinkle light bulb...and the crafty bug got me, and got me good.  Even better it's the kind of busy work that can allow the body and mind to really focus, one wrong fold can mess up the whole...but fold correctly every time and all works out quite nicely!

 So worth the tired fingers!

A couple of recommendations if wanting to give it a go.  1.) Don't chintz on origami paper.  It's worth the price to have a more pliable sheet of paper for folding, and blowing up the balloon.  2.)  Where you can chintz is in the strand of twinkle lights. I bought a strand for a few bucks at the local Target (which would be in the garden/lawn section for this time of year).  The balloons can simply be slipped over the bulb.  The caveat...same rule applies for the strand of origami balloons as for a live Christmas tree.  Don't leave the lights on for a long period of time or over night.  Doing so creates a possible fire hazard.
